On a recent visit to South Asia our sales manager performed a detailed presentation and demonstration of the latest ROMDAS Laser Profiler module. Over 30 staff members from central and regional departments of LGED & RHD participated in the event.
The road network in Bangladesh faces a number of issues commonly seen in South Asia, including a wide range of condition, high congestion and a mix between paved and unpaved surfaces. These environmental conditions create significant challenges for system manufacturers and adapting equipment to meet these challenges was a key point of discussion.
We hope to provide ongoing support to assist these departments in broadening their data collection capabilities. Enabling them to collect more reliable and workable data. Data which is not only cost-effective to collect, but can translate into effective use of available budgets through appropriate decision making.
We received excellent feedback on this demonstration and look forward to dealing with LGED & RHD again in the future.
